Posting Update and Songs!

Here be updates on new chapters (really!) and what I'll be posting soon…
Whew! After a few soul-crushing months, spring has sprung and brought with it the belief that things actually DO get better. And thanks to the less stringent goals of the Writing Challenges on Twitter (currently the #MayWritingChallenge, feel free to follow me there - @buttononthetop), I have been trucking along and writing almost every day again without feeling completely crushed by the word count requirements. I love the idea of NaNo but the reality usually leaves me crouched in a corner, chewing on my hair, convinced I'll never write another word. These monthly writing challenges work better for me and for you because, I am pleased to announce, I have THIRTEEN new chapters written and (almost all) beta'd and ready to post. I'm hoping to get a few more under my belt so when I get started posting, I won't have to stop (again). I hate leaving y'all hanging!
In the meantime, to get back in the rhythm of things, I'm going to be posting Jack and Ianto songs for the next few weeks. A few years ago, while I was searching desperately for my muse and trying to get back to my fics, I started thinking about songs that feel like Jack and Ianto's story to me. What really kicked it off was the lovelyunrequited1984 suggesting "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz as my Jack and Ianto Song (original post here). After that, I really started listening for songs that fit this relationship's particular (and sometimes peculiar) mold. THEN I found this font of song-a-liciousness at JackxIanto which spiraled into my own personal playlist.
Sadly for me, my brain will not allow me to write when I can hear other words (songs, TV, other people talking, etc.), so this is not my writing playlist (that's 100% Classical and instrumental music). However, this is my "get inspired" playlist which is almost as important!
So I'll gradually be posting my list with links and lyrics and pics and all that jazz. I hope you'll tune in (heh heh)!
