Fic: Half-Windsor (1/4)

Title: Half-Windsor
Pairing: Jack/Ianto
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: Jack and Ianto belong to Russell T. Davies and the Mighty Beeb. Just goofin' around!
Summary: Ianto likes his new tie...
Notes: A tiny ficlet that popped in my head when watching Stranger Than Fiction.

Ianto just held the tie for a moment.  This one was a beauty – heavy silk in a deep blood red.  He smoothed his hand over the tie, smiling at the feel of the smooth material under the tips of his long fingers.

He started with the wide end on his right and extended it about a foot below the narrow end.  He crossed the wide end over the narrow and turned it back underneath.  Bringing it up, he then turned it down through the loop.  He passed the wide end around the front from left to right, smiling as he did so.  “Up through the loop…” he murmured, ignoring Jack’s snicker, “…and down through the knot in front.”

“Fancy,” Jack said.

“Not at all,” Ianto replied.  “A perfect half-Windsor.”  He patted the knot lovingly and turned to kiss Jack.

“If you’re through playing with your tie, do you think you could play with me now?” Jack asked, tugging gently on his restraints.

Ianto contemplated the sight of Jack, stark naked and tied to his bed with four of his best ties.  “I think that can be arranged, sir.”

*is going through your back catalogue* seeing as there's no new -readable- fic for me atm, I'm going to make myself useful and read everything else!

this was very sweet =] I must admit, I completely empathise with Ianto here! There's nothing more satisfying than getting your tie (school one in my case) knotted just right!

Thanks!! I can't tie a tie to save my life so it was fun to write like I could. :D

Congrats on your nomination sweetie!

*giggles*

Love the image of Jack tied up in Ianto's good ties.

Whoops! Just saw your first comment! :) Missed it in the insanity that was last spring. *hugs* It's still appreciated! :D

Aww, it's OK :)

I promise to get further than part two of this, (well I just commented on part 3 so I'm further than I got before.)

I didn't re-read your first one b/c that makes me bawl like a baby and I couldn't do that at work.

Oh man, Beautiful Boy? Hell, that makes ME bawl and I wrote the effing thing!! I just let my mom read it (she's always wanted to read my fic since she loves TW too, but... um... not without some editing first!). But I let her read it and SHE cried. *GRIN* I was quite proud. :)

Yes Beautiful Boy. Just looking at the title makes me tear up.

So glad to hear your mom liked it.

And best yet, when I was writing my Christmas in July for The Stopwatch last year, my dad was like what are writing?

I told him fan fic.

He was like with who?

I replied Torchwood.

He was like Can I see?

I said NO.

He was like so who did you write on Top Jack or Ianto and where were they doing it?

*facepalm*

My parents have not seen my fics at all. Cannot show them EVER, lol.

OMG that's hysterical! Your dad sounds like a hoot. But yeah, there are just some things parents should NEVER read. :D

Yeah, my dad's pretty cool. Just think if it weren't for him, I'd never have watched Torchwood.

And yes there things my parents should NEVER read, or let alone think that I write. Boysex is one of those things.
