Hee - I just can't stomach them. Literally. I refused to watch Silence of the Lambs until I could find someone who would tell me when anything "icky" would happen so I could cover my eyes. LOL - and that is a fantastic film! I watched the Ring and couldn't sleep all night! I'm a wuss.

LOL The Ring was the movie that got the dog permission to sleep on the bed LOL...the hubs was away at Naval Justice School, I was alone in our apartment with the dog...had to sleep with the light AND the tv on, the door closed and the dog on the bed LOL - and yes, I still love horror movies...but not those torture movies like Saw, Hostel..those are NOT horror movies and I will refuse to acknowledge them as such. :)

Those torture movies just make me cringe. If I found the most perfect guy in the world and he looked just like JB and was smart and could sing and was rich but he watched those movies? That just might be a deal breaker!

Not a horror fan myself - certainly not of the slasher type. Pysch horror - now Se7en has to be one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen, but you see what ? ONE murder? And that's in long-shot. Silence is good but things like Freddy etc - no thanks. And 28 Days Later - those shots of London were awesome but as for the rest - plot holes abound and ultimately it's just a zombie flick.

OMG Se7ve stands as the most intense, disturbing, horrifying movie I have ever seen. A Clockwork Orange is a close second. *shudder* Seriously, except that they were both brilliant pieces of art, I would willing Retcon BOTH of them out of my mind if I could. *shudder* *double shudder*

I make 75, but half of these have come out since I had my kids and I have very little time to watch films these days (put it this way: other than Quantum of Solace, I think the last film I saw in the cinema was Pirates. I'm pretty sure I've not watched any Harry Potter that came out later than Return of the King in the cinema!)

I so know what you mean - well, not personally, LOL. But all my friends with kids and my brother and sister-in-law especially are like "Unless it's on video and rated G you can pretty much bet I haven't seen it." At least you got to see QofS. Daniel Craig is such a good Bond... yum! :)

Mind, close to home, GDL is pretty impressive there as well. Just wish I could fix on the damn colour! You see it such a lot in all fic (as in, proper published stuff) - a character whose eyes change colour according to mood or light etc but I swear his really do!)
