Rambling: Sexy People Meme
Nov. 24th, 2009 09:21 pmCall me a lemming, I just couldn't resist...
1) List 5 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
2) Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them [5 - 1, 1 is the hottest].
3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
4) Supply photos for said people.
5) Tag five friends to do the same. I don't tag, but I'd love to hear your list!
5. Ioan Gruffudd (Horatio Hornblower, Fantastic Four, King Arthur)
Hornblower!! Hornblower!! Hornblower!!
Soooo wonderful! Love those Brits – the Scots and the Welsh (like our boy here) especially. Ioan was the original inspiration for my OC Brendan. Always thought he was cute but he got promoted to DAMN!! in King Arthur. *fans self* DAAAM! :D
4. Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Moulin Rouge, The Island *drool*)
First noticed in Shallow Grave, then Trainspotting, Emma and Velvet Goldmine, etc. etc., but it took Moulin Rouge to tumble me head over heels in lust with this adorable Scotsman.
Ewan was my first insane crush since Harrison Ford circa my fifth birthday. :) Oddly enough, he also tumbled me head first into slash. *blushes* I rewatched Velvet Goldmine shortly after Moulin Rouge and read my first slash fic (Curt/Arthur, of course!) and, well, never looked back!
3. Jensen Ackles (Smallville, Supernatural)
So he was on Smallville back when it was still fun and he was a hottie then. But Supernatural took it to a whole 'nother level. He also stands as the only American on my list, although he is from Texas which is kind of a whole 'nother place. ;)
2. Gerard Butler (300, Phantom of the Opera)
Technically, I first noticed the gorgeous Gerry when he was doing full body pull-ups in a Kazakhstan prison in Tomb Raider 2...
but since I was sitting in the theater under duress, I just went "oooh!" and let it go. Then came Phantom of the Opera and a fangirl slide into hysteria that culminated in helping throw a convention in his name. *facepalm* Hey, we raised $30,000+ for kids with cancer and I got to wear a coat that he'd worn in a movie that the studio donated for the auction.
So, not all bad. He's a lovely, lovely Scotsman who really needs to stop starring in horrible, horrible movies (*cough*The Ugly Truth*cough*) but he'll always hold a special place in my heart.
1. Gareth David-Lloyd (Torchwood)
So, it's all my friend Carrie's fault. I resisted the whole New Who thing for the first three seasons (yes, I'm a moron) but she convinced me to give the spinoff a try. And on September 8, 2007, when Ianto gave Jack that little smile in Everything Changes, I got hooked. I've obsessed about a lot of boys in my time, but he's the first one who EVER made me WRITE fanfic. Ianto Jones also stands as the only fictional character that I've actually mourned since Beth died in Little Women when I was 8. Luckily for me, I'm living in a world of complete and total denial and will spend the foreseeable future reading and writing this fabulous man that GDL brought to life. LOL, it doesn't hurt that GDL himself is adorable, sweet, kind, funny and totally charming. And that NOSE!! *grin*
So those are my boys! I won't be laminating that Top 5 list since I know the danger there, but I'm pretty damn sure they'll stand for a while. :) Runners up? Clive Owen, Nathan Fillion, Ryan Reynolds, John Cusack, Timothy Olyphant, and of course the beautiful John Barrowman who didn't make the list for the same reason that
teachwriteslash listed - he's just too much a part of Scott & John in my head to get all fantasizey about him. :)
