Rambling: Technical Difficulties...Please Stand By

Hello darlings! My apologies to everyone for the fake-out last night. I had some technical difficulties…

So, first off LiveJournal wouldn't let me save any edits to my Season's Verse Org post. It wouldn't show me the preview of the changes and then after I saved them and went back to my journal, all the changes were gone. So I skipped over to Dreamwidth thinking that I'd just post the links to everything in the story post instead updating the Org Post. Well, on Dreamwidth every time I tried to insert a link or an image, it would crash. So I cowboyed up and worked out all the html and did it that way which worked except for the cut! When I went to look at my journal, it had just posted the entire (looooong and very, very naughty) chapter for everyone to see without any clicking. NOT COOL!

So I deleted the whole post and gave up. After some consideration, I decided to uninstall (the evil, nasty) IE9 and reinstall IE8 and that seemed to work. Yay!

Long story short (too late!), I will be posting the first part of The Dusk of a Summer Night this evening. Hopefully it will act as a balm to all those who watch (or don't watch) Miracle Day and miss Ianto.

Ack the evil IE9 strikes again, you're not the first to have issues with that and LJ, them don't mix well
I think the last IE I used was 6, since then I have married Google Chrome, we're very happy together :)
Post when you can, we'll try to be patient a while longer

I've been using Firefox...IE9 apparently hates everything. >:(

Ah yes Angstosaur had the same problem with IW9 and LJ. Based on that I decided not to install it and stuck with IE8. I have wondered about moving to Google Chrome.

Looking forward to the new story :)

I am In love with firefox..but son (who does everything with a computer and all on the interwebs) adores Google Chrome and tries to get me to use it too...I am too old for changes...
